The zipper will be installed in the hoop. What could be easier!
This project can be created in either a 5×7 or 8×12 hoop depending on your needs or hoop limitations.
Supply List
Embroidery machine in good order, power cord, scissors, threads of your choice.
Design may be completed in 5×7 or 8×12 hoop.
For 8×12 project a fat quarter will provide the outer fabric as well as the zipper pocket lining, a fat sixteenth is needed for the lining, and a fat quarter for the small pockets.
Also needed is medium weight cutaway stabilizer, batting for the lining and zipper pocket lining, clear vinyl piece of 4-1/2″ x 8-1/2″, a 10″ white lace zipper, 24″ of 3/8″ ribbon, needle and thread and a water soluble pen.
If making the smaller project where it asks for a fat quarter for the larger size a fat sixteenth works, the clear vinyl is only 4″x6″, and the zipper is 7″
